Inclus and Google AI Collaboration: Advancing risk management with AI
Inclus has embarked on an exciting collaboration with Google AI, focusing on their Gemini and Vertex AI models. This collaboration brings exciting opportunities to explore the latest AI models, in a risk management context. Below is an overview of the partnership, its objectives, and the benefits it brings to both Inclus and its clients.
Focus of the Collaboration
The primary objective of this collaboration is to keep Inclus at the forefront of AI development by testing and leveraging the latest language models.
The project initially focused on document processing, including handling over 300 PDF documents and several thousand pages of text files. While tools like ChatGPT-4 can now handle such tasks, the Google AI models were among the first capable of this earlier in the year, offering Inclus a unique opportunity to explore new AI practices alongside clients.
Inclus and Google’s collaboration centers around experimenting with existing data sets and understanding how they can be used to improve risk management.
Public sources such as industry reports and risk analysis documents have proven to be an easy starting point for companies, especially those unfamiliar with the internal data they can provide to AI. This makes it easier for organizations to begin exploring the potential of AI in managing risks, without requiring them to dive into more complex data right from the start.
This project’s aim is not just to test AI models but also to deepen Inclus' product development. By understanding how different AI functionalities add value to customers, Inclus can discover new and innovative features for its software.
Benefits for Inclus customers
The collaboration provides a low-barrier entry point for clients to test AI models relevant to risk management. Inclus has accumulated significant expertise from working on various cases, making it well-positioned to offer guidance and support to its clients. The agile nature of Inclus means customers can quickly see concrete results through 3–4-week sprints, gaining valuable insights for their business.

Customers also have the chance to test AI’s capabilities in an inclusive process, where the insights generated by AI are enhanced by organizational input – all facilitated digitally with the Inclus software. This combination of AI and human feedback leads to better data than external sources can provide, fostering a well-rounded approach to development.
Advancing Risk Management Capabilities
Inclus work with Google AI is designed to improve risk management for its customers by providing data-driven AI solutions that offer more sophisticated ways to identify and mitigate risks. According to ISO standards, the best available information should always be used in risk management, and AI’s ability to summarize vast amounts of data helps organizations meet this criterion effectively. That data can be harvested from several available sources and fed into AI, but AI can also summarize the content created throughout the collaborative analysis process that collects inputs from the company’s key personnel and turn that into insightful report, adding productivity to the process.

Inclus approach emphasizes inclusivity, using AI to support collective decision-making and validation processes. By working with clients on data-rich projects, Inclus can demonstrate how AI can elevate their risk management strategies and drive better decision-making.
Future Outlook of the Collaboration
Our partnership with Google AI has already provided amazing results across several impactful projects. One such project focused on preparing for oil spills in the Baltic Sea, where we collaborated with a social welfare region using research literature to model potential risks.
Another significant project involved analysing changes in the security landscape for a large Finnish retail company by leveraging crime statistics provided by the Finnish police and other resources to better understand evolving security risks.
Looking ahead, this collaboration is ready for deeper exploration and innovation. Inclus is committed to expanding the software’s AI-driven capabilities, with a particular emphasis on predictive risk management. Our goal is to empower customers with AI tools that not only identify risks early but also provide proactive solutions, enabling more informed and effective decision-making.
