About the presenters
Mark Boult – Boult Consulting Limited, Director
Mark is a highly experienced risk management consultant with over 40 years of experience. He has supported clients with risk management and assurance activities from board level to front line operations.
Mark has worked with a wide range of organisations in a broad cross section of industries including; oil & gas, chemicals & petrochemicals, government agencies, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare, maritime, rail, aviation, utilities, the entertainment industry and charities.
He has supported risk management operations and activities in countries around the world from the UK and Europe, through the Middle East and Africa to South East Asia and Australia, and in the Americas with topics such as:
Development and implementation of risk management policies, strategies, management systems, standards and procedures
Identification, analysis and evaluation of risk and in the development of risk treatment strategies
Communicating and reporting risk
Providing assurance over the risk management frameworks, processes and treatments
Rolling out risk management methodologies and approaches
Investigating incidents and capturing learning
Additionally, Mark is a member of the UK Standards committees for Risk Management and Governance and the ISO committees for Risk Management and sustainability, inputting to the ISO31000 and ISO37000 families of international standards. Mark is a Certified Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management.
Mikaeli Langinvainio – Inclus Oy, CEO, Co-founder
Mikaeli has over 20 years of experience in business, crisis management and peace negotiations in over 20 countries on three continents.
Over his career he has designed and facilitated dozens of peace mediation, risk management and policy development processes of national importance in the world’s most challenging environments.
Mikaeli co-founded Inclus that provides software for collaborative risk management. Mikaeli's prior experience includes working at CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation - as Senior Manager leading the Methods and Tools Unit. He has worked at the Finnish Defense Administration as a strategic analysis team leader, routinely providing analysis to the top leadership of Finland. He has also acted as the National Coordinator of Civilian Crisis Management Training and Research at the Finnish Ministry of Interior taking part in establishing the Crisis Management Centre and representing Finland at the European Union. He has also served as a Peacekeeper with honorary mention of meritorious service.
Mikaeli works with both enterprise and government sector clients helping build and advance risk management practices. His methodology expertise includes building risk metrics and controls, cross impact analysis, continuity planning, and digital risk process facilitation.
